God had blessed me with the opportunity to participate on a team that went to El Salvador to share the love of Jesus Christ and the Good News of the Gospel. The team consisted of several members from Christian Surfers South Bay chapter, including Jeff White, who is also a member of That None Shall Perish.
During the 8 days in El Salvador we were blessed with the opportunity to work with the local Christian Surfers chapter in El Tunco on the Christian Surfers Community Center and participate in outreach. We also enjoyed the kids at the Remar orphanage where we worked to give staff a little break. We shared the salvation bracelet and enjoyed fellowship with the children. During the trip we also spend a couple days at the Church of God in San Diego, El Salvador where we had the privilege of providing meals at the church for two days to about 110 people under the spiritual care of pastor Orlando.
The Church of God in San Diego, El Salvador is a very rustic and plain building with a congregation that is loving the Lord. We will continue to work with Pastor Orlando on a dream to build and stock a small school with walls, a roof, chalk board and maybe even a computer or two. Upon our visit we provided Bibles to stock the church, a Gospel of John teaching lesson, school supplies for the children's ministry, soccer balls and clothes.
Our teaching activities are Christ centered, focused on Salvation through Christ with John 3:16 as a foundational verse.
